What does a Foreman do at Fundex?
As a Foreman or Site Supervisor, you will lead a crew on foundation projects in the Netherlands and Belgium. You will supervise the machine operator and other team members, ensure safety and quality, and make sure that the work is carried out efficiently and according to schedule.
Do I need experience to work as a foreman or crew leader?
Yes, for this position we are looking for someone with an interest in foundation work and a strong sense of responsibility. Experience as a pile driver, foreman, or in the construction and infrastructure sector is a major plus.
Where do I work as a site foreman?
You’ll work at a variety of project sites throughout the Netherlands and occasionally abroad. One day you might be working on an inner-city project, for example in Leiden, and the next at a site in Zeeland or Belgium. No two projects are alike.
What are my responsibilities as a Heibaas?
You are responsible for planning and executing foundation work, supervising staff, ensuring safety and quality, and documenting project data for the site supervisor or project manager.
What courses or certifications do I need?
A VCA Basic certificate is preferred for this position. If you do not yet have one, you can obtain it through Fundex. In addition, a Class B driver’s license is required, or you must be willing to obtain one in the near future.
